Description

Learn how to keep yourself and youth healthy and safe in the community, both on and offline. This discussion includes how to intervene when witnessing bullying in person, protect your online privacy, and report behaviors that may be harmful to others on social media platforms.

Delaney Knottnerus LSWAIC, CDP is a social worker, substance use and co-occurring disorders counselor at Youth Eastside Services. She is currently working in the Lake Washington School District middle schools on the SBIRT- Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral To Services -implementation. Delaney received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington.  Delaney has worked with children, youth and families in the Pacific Northwest since 2014. Delaney has advanced training in Motivational Interviewing and believes in a holistic and collaborative approach to counseling, using evidenced based practices such as Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapies.
