Overlake Hospital Auxiliary and Henredon & Schoener Pair Up for Perfect Settings

Bellevue, Wash. – Inspiration for elegant decorating and entertaining will be served up in high style at a special three-day fundraising event organized by Overlake's Elsie Barker Cancer Center Auxiliary and held November 3 to 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., at the Henredon & Schoener furniture store in Lincoln Square, at 700 Bellevue Way NE, Suite 220. Funds raised at the event benefit the Cancer Center at Overlake Hospital Medical Center.

Lavishly decorated dining tables will be on display at Henredon & Schoener and the public is invited to stop in to take a look, glean some creative ideas as well as buy a raffle ticket to enter to win all of the table décor items from one of the tables of their choice (furniture excluded). Items in the tabletop designs may include china, silver, crystal, serving pieces, floral arrangements and other accessories.

"We're bringing our highly successful Perfect Settings event into one of Bellevue's most popular gathering places so more people can enjoy it and we can boost our fundraising effort," said Muffie Signalness, director of Overlake Auxiliaries. "Thanks to our partnership with Henredon & Schoener and all our participating merchants this year, we're hoping to widen our audience and by raffling off the table décor, we're hoping to add to the excitement for attendees."

Merchants creating display tables include Common Folk Co., Countryside Floral, Fiala Design Works, Henredon & Schoener, Maison de France, Neiman Marcus and Rosa Mundi's. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase during store hours and are priced at $20. Overlake Auxiliary members will handle all ticket sales at the store.

In addition, an exclusive cocktail party will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Henredon & Schoener and will include hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants including Blue C Sushi, McCormick's and Schmick's, Pink Alicious cupcakes and others. Tickets for the cocktail party are available to the public and priced at $100. To purchase tickets or get more information, contact us at 425-688-5526 or by e-mail.
